What about controlled substances? Will you continue medications I previously took?
Controlled substances require careful evaluation and monitoring. These medications may be continued in some cases but are not guaranteed. A clinical assessment will determine appropriateness.

Patients may be required to sign a treatment agreement and complete drug screening.

This practice does not prescribe opioid medications under any circumstances. Benzodiazepines are not prescribed for patients taking opioids.

Do you provide ESA letters?
No. Intracoastal Behavioral Health, Recovery, & Wellness does not provide Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations or letters as part of this practice.
Why don’t you provide ESA letters?
Our practice is focused on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. ESA assessments require specialized evaluations and ongoing documentation that fall outside the scope of services offered.
