Right to Decline or Discontinue Services
This practice reserves the right to decline or discontinue services when clinically appropriate or when a therapeutic relationship cannot be maintained.

Intracoastal Behavioral Health, Recovery, & Wellness is committed to providing safe, ethical, and high-quality care.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services when clinically appropriate or when a therapeutic relationship cannot be effectively maintained. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Situations where care needs fall outside the scope of services offered
- Non-compliance with treatment recommendations or practice policies
- Repeated missed appointments or failure to follow scheduling policies
- Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior
- Concerns related to patient or provider safety
When possible, appropriate referrals or resources will be provided to support continuity of care.
Controlled Substance Policy
Certain medications require additional monitoring. A urine drug screen will be required prior to initiating and/or continuing treatment. Failure to complete required screening will result in denial of refills or changes to treatment.
No-Show Policy
Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled appointment cost. A valid payment method is required. Insurance cannot be used for missed appointment fees. All fees must be paid in full to reschedule appointments.
Medication Refill Policy
Refills are handled during scheduled appointments. Requests outside of appointments will result in a $75 refill fee.
Paperwork Policy
Paperwork is completed during appointments. Requests outside of appointments may incur a fee of $75 or more depending on complexity.
ESA Policy
This practice does not provide Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations or letters.
Patients may seek services through licensed providers specializing in ESA evaluations and review guidance through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
